AAFC congratulates Archie Fraser

AAFC today congratulated Archie Fraser on his appointment as the new CEO of the Macarthur South-West (MSW) A-League club.

Fraser was today named in the role by MSW Chairman Lang Walker, AO.

In recent months, Fraser has been spearheading the drive for a national second division by AAFC which is now at the stage of a 'White Paper' being finalised by Football Federation Australia.

AAFC is especially pleased that the A-League has another CEO who is a strong supporter of the Championship, and who has a deep understanding of what a national second division can do to improve football in Australia.

While AAFC is sorry to lose his support for our work, we believe Macarthur South West has made a good appointment which can only be good for football too. We wish Archie all the best.

​In the meantime, we will continue our work on making sure the Championship becomes reality.
